Our Background
Founded in 1972, our family ranch in Nyssa Oregon has grown into a proud third generation bison operation rooted in tradition, hard work and respect for the land and animals. In 2017, we expanded our operations to Vale, Oregon adding to our original ranch and strengthening our ability to serve customers through the Northwest.
For more than five decades, our family has upheld the highest standards in bison ranching. We are dedicated to providing a healthier red meat option for our customers. Our holistic management practices support the well-being of our animals while preserving and improving the land for future generations.

DO YOU SHIP?
We have some connections with airlines to ship to airports. We have shipped before but like anything it can be expensive. We are happy to give a quote for shipping if interested.
WHY BISON?
Bison is lower in fat and cholesterol in comparison to beef. It also higher in protein, iron and omega 3s. Making it a great red meat to eat.
WHAT DO YOU SELL?
We sell both live animals for those interested in raising these beautiful animals.
We sell meat for consumption in eighths, quarters, halves and whole animals based on rail weight. We are have packaged meat based on cuts.
IS IT BISON OR BUFFALO?
This is one of the most common questions we get asked. This is the north American Bison. Buffalo is the slang term that has been used to descirbe these animals over the years. In recent years with the import of water buffalo in the country for sale they have pushed to refer to them as Bison. We use both terms but have opted to keep the ranch name with Buffalo because that is how it always has been.
